About Jess:
Devon Sangster Rath (she/her) approaches mindfulness practice with kind curiosity. Her coaching style emphasizes listening, and finding what will be most supportive to an individual. Her guidance is informed by decades of experience as a meditation practitioner and teacher. She started meditating in 1997 and has been formally teaching since 2010. Her training includes Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) as well as programs centered on traditional Buddhist teaching.She's taught meditation everywhere from workplaces to schools, and created programs to support people in transforming their solo mindfulness practice into a tool for deepening their connection to themselves and others. Devon is passionate about making mindfulness accessible to all, specifically people who have experienced trauma, historically marginalized populations, including people of color, trans and LGBQ+ folks, people of size and different body abilities.Devon identifies as a queer woman and uses the pronouns she/her.
